Dave Martinez, manager of the Nationals, has a lot in common with Dave Roberts. Tonight, he has Hellickson completely dominating the Phillies. Hellickson takes a 2-1 lead into the sixth. He has nine K's and allows his fourth hit (all singles) with one out. Out comes Dave II, yanks him for the lefty matchup. Dave II's lefty allows a walk and home run to the next two batters and it's suddenly 4-2. It's like de ja vu, and how Martinez survived the Nats' 2018 disaster is beyond me.

Does Roberts know that Max has reverse splits right now & has actually hit Lauer?

Kinsler solo bomb. BTW Kinsler is having a horrible year. Lack of velocity for Kershaw is mind boggling at his age.

Joc looks perfectly fine vs Lauer...better than Kike, Corey, JT, & Barnes. Batting 8th, usually w/2 outs, is counter productive.

Kike & Cody leadoffs 2nd & 3rd no outs for Turner & Seager. Will they show up?
