Sending Smith down and playing Barnes will be a shame and prove that tenure matters more than performance here.

It’s not that I don’t understand why it will be done. I just don’t think that anyone will be able to create an argument that playing Barnes over Smith is supported by anything other than Smith is young and Barnes is the designated starter.

If you want to put the best lineup out there then Barnes has no place on this team at all.

Ruiz may be the highest ceiling prospect but on most teams, Smith would be their #1 Catching prospect. I really hope they can hold on to him.

Wasted 2B from Seags. Might be time to put Corey back in the 2 hole & move Max down. Better believe all the SF pitchers will know the scouting report on Max.

Now that Beaty is on the IL, do you think maybe Garlick's visit is brief and they keep three catchers?
