It was a helluva dramatic offseason and this is only the first exhibition tilt, but I love what I saw from last night.

Even your Lakers threads are NSFW? What crime against nature did you commit to get that label?
Probably triggered it by usage of swears?

Not since I was growing up back east, watching Yankee games and rooting for them to lose, have I felt this same way watching the Clippers.

I'm very disappointed to learn that Lonzo Ball won't be playing tonight due to a stomach virus. I was really looking forward to watching him suck against the Lakers, instead of for them.

This team loves deciding the game on the last play, don't they?

I worry that this tendency could bite them in the ass when they start playing better teams. The back to back games next week at Denver and Utah will be a real test.

I agree. The December schedule is very tough compared to Oct/Nov. The defense sorely misses Bradley & LBJ is going overboard feeding AD every possession. I fail to understand why LBJ & AD aren't playing pick n' roll but rather having AD play ISO away from the basket. This style makes it easier to defend & gives me ugly Luke feels.

I loved the comment Robert Horry made on the post-game show about Dwight Howard getting a technical foul for taunting. He said that Dwight is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA.

I guess they passed the test.

I'll admit that I thought this was a loss watching the 1st half. Westbrook was destroying Bradley, Caruso, KCP, & Green w/no added rim protection. Then Vogel made some halftime adjustments putting Kuz on him & the team turned up the defense to take over the game. For all the shit Kuz gets about defense, I see growth. He has a bad habit of ball chasing/switching every time which was done in Luke's system. Vogel doesn't want the defense to switch unless necessary. He also tends to provide unnecessary help defense & leaves his man wide open. I think these are correctable tendencies. Anyway, this was a very good W. I'll be scared to play the Celtics w/o AD so hope he's back.
