The accolades Davey got last year were really a joke when you consider how many bad moves he made throughout the year. He is just another guy who is loved by the media and people who don't watch the game closely. No different than Mattingly, another overrated guy.

They will talk like it's no big deal, long season etc which is fine but it shows a lack of any sort of urgency when a team is playing like shit and undisciplined. Be ready for a steady dose of "Look what happened last year after the All Star break," type of comments. It's easy, low hanging fruit to counter the critics and the questions.
