Taylor hitting well in this series so he sits for the guy in a horrible slump, Kike. Dugo out w/back tightness. Beaty batting behind Cody again. Why pitch to Cody?

1. Joc Pederson (L) LF
2. Max Muncy (L) 2B
3. Justin Turner (R) 3B
4. Cody Bellinger (L) RF
5. Matt Beaty (L) 1B
6. Corey Seager (L) SS
7. Enrique Hernandez (R) CF
8. Austin Barnes (R) C
9. Kenta Maeda (R) P

1. Adam Frazier (L) 2B
2. Gregory Polanco (L) RF
3. Starling Marte (R) CF
4. Josh Bell (S) 1B
5. Bryan Reynolds (S) LF
6. Colin Moran (L) 3B
7. Elias Diaz (R) C
8. Kevin Newman (R) SS
9. Chris Archer (R) P

Witness the insane lineup w/Beaty batting behind Cody instead of Seags who goes yard. Just think, score could be 3-0. Team is so talented it wins despite being mismanaged.

Really unhappy w/Joc leading off. Why is making a lineup so hard for Roberts?

The insistence on batting Beaty fifth is mind boggling. He's a .300 hitter in his minor league career, but he's got 34 home runs in 5 minor seasons. This is his first mlb appearance at age 26. I wish him all the best and he IS a Dodger draftee, but his history indicates he should be batting down in the order, and certainly not fifth.

Give Roberts a mediocre team mixed w/his bad managing & they would be under .500. His faults are masked by the talent in LA.
