When Gilly said that line, both me and Herself got big eyes and we so wanted her to go on with who Rhaegar married first. Another very good episode, Herself thought that John Snow was showing some jealousy when Jorah kept on hugging on Daenerys. I wonder if John will lose Jorah in the Great White North. Littlefinger needs to die a slow death at Arya's hand. He still wants to get in Sansa's drawers. I don't buy that both Bronn and Jamie swam that far away from the dragon. Someone has some 'splainin' to do. Herself is proud of her thinking. She was the first to say that she thinks John Snow is a Targaryen because the dragon didn't incinerate John and looked like he liked him. How many episodes left, this season? One? Two?
One. John is the son of Leanna Stark & Rhaegar Targaryen which I thought everyone knew by now. What was revealed last night was that he is not a bastard & has legal right to the throne. I would be shocked if John & Danys don't become a couple even though they're related. I hope that reveal doesn't preclude their union. Do you think Cersei is really pregnant or is it a ploy to manipulate Jamie? The prophecy only spoke of 3 children.

There's been a lot of speculation on line that the Mad King raped Tyrion's mother and that he is also a Targaryen. People base that on the scene in Meereen last season when Tyrion got close to the dragons and they didn't harm him. Some think the three dragons will at some point be ridden by Dany, Jon & Tyrion.

My guess is she has a miscarriage and goes off hte deep end (as if she isn't already there)

As I recall from the books, incest is not frowned upon among the Targaryen's. Aegon the Conqueror took Kings Landing with his sister/wives riding dragons. So a Jon/Dany hookup probably wouldn't be a problem.
It's hard to say what's going on with Cersei's pregnancy. She could be lying, or she could have a miscarriage or maybe she'll die before giving birth. Another possibility is that the prophecy could be wrong. Melisandre's false prophecy got an innocent young girl burned at the stake, and her first attempt at that prophecy, with Gendry, got her put on Arya's list. That's why when she told Varys that she was coming back to Westeros to die, makes it pretty likely that she'll meet up with Arya again.

I don't normally theorize, but I've been reading a lot of comments on the http://watchersonthewall.com/ website, and there are many over there speculating that even the presence of a captured wight wouldn't convince Cersei to join forces and fight against the army of the dead. I don't normally do more than lurk over there, but I did suggest how Cersei might be convinced. So, here's my crazy theory. What if the only way to convince Cersei is to present her with a wight who she knows, meaning the Hound. He could get killed beyond the wall and be the most convenient wight to bring back. I'll even go one ridiculous step further, and suggest that he gets loose at Kings Landing and gets his long overdue revenge against his brother, the Mountain. Sorry, Arya, I don't think you get to kill the Mountain.

You may be wight. I may be cwazy.

I do believe this theory as well.

I'm sticking w/Arya killing the Mountain. We can't have the Hound die beyond the wall w/John because we need Arya to come face to face w/him. Yeah, don't think Cersei will be convinced either.

Yeah, it's a wild theory, I realize that. That's why I don't theorize that often. As far as Arya coming face to face with the Hound, I suppose it's possible, but not necessary as I see it. She doesn't hate him anymore. I'm more anxious to see her reunited with Gendry.

But Bran has been spot on on his predictions and telling of the past. Mellisandre was pretty much wrong at every turn.

Bran had nothing to do with the prophecy that Cersei would have 3 children who would all die. It was from a fortune teller when she was a child. I just threw in that mistaken prophecy as one more option. I don't expect the child to be born.

And yes, Melisandre has been pretty much useless, except for bringing Jon back from the dead.

No, I take that back. She did bring Jon and Dany together, even though it had nothing to do with magic.

Morning, you guys. I liked the episode on Sunday and I still think Cersei never dies. She has big plans and her spies know everything. The worst that will happen to her is that she gets sent north of the wall and becomes the next ruler of the white walkers. Not much chance of it happening but I cannot see her dying. She sacrifices her kids, she threatened to kill Jamie, so she does not care about anyone but herself. Even if she gets killed, her meister will bring her back to life.

I like the idea of Jamie killing Cersei after she goes full Mad King. Nice symmetry to it

I read something on line that really made me laugh out loud. We'll never see Cersei & Bronn in a scene together because Lena Headey & Jerome Flynn had a prior relationship and now hate each other so badly that they can't work together.

Speaking of Jerome Flynn, I was amazed to just find out that he was in a singing duo, Robson & Jerome, back in the 90's. What really blew my mind was that his partner in that duo was Robson Greene who starred in a very good series called Wire in the Blood, which like Game of Thrones, got me to read the entire series of books that it was based on.
These guys can really sing.

Yep, I knew that, I even have a couple of their CD's. They were on a show from England called Soldier, Soldier and they sang "Unchained Melody" and it went over so well, they did some remakes of standards from the sixties and seventies. All big hits. You can also see Flynn on BBC's Ripper Street, where he is very good.
