NLCS Game 2 vs Braves 10/17/2021

[BCmaiden]

Trea fouled off ball 4 then k'd on ball 5...shocking.

[DodgerSSR]

TT K's on a ball in the lh batters box.

[Shmolnick]

WTF was Turner swinging at?

[Shmolnick]

Wow, they're afraid of Young William.

[BCmaiden]

Trea doesn't belong in the 3 hole, especially in the playoffs because he's a bust in the most important games.

[BCmaiden]

Wow, they're afraid of Young William.

L/R matchup book

[dsinsocal]

He's just horrible in the postseason... clear case of kershaw-itis. Only cure is 47 trips to the postseason in order to wear out the virus

[BCmaiden]

WTF was Turner swinging at?

Balls not strikes per usual.

[KYDodger]

Fuck

[Shmolnick]

Two more left on base.

[BCmaiden]

Braves have a million LHP this year just for this series.

[BCmaiden]

Two more left on base.

Dodgers won the 2021 LOB award.

[DodgerSSR]

Roberts, you have got to be kidding me, taking out Scherzer. Fuck

[BCmaiden]

Roberts, you have got to be kidding me, taking out Scherzer. Fuck

Ironic when his L/R matchups backfire.

[Shmolnick]

Wait - Roberts pulled Scherzer after he struck out a guy on three pitches? Is that correct?

[BLUEFAN]

Roberts, you have got to be kidding me, taking out Scherzer. Fuck

What the #%&!*& is Roberts obsession with pulling Scherzer at 4.1 innings.

Screw his # of pitches.

Look at Scherzer's history. He has a long history of throwing 6 - 7 innings with 100 - 115 pitches per start.

At only 79 pitches, he was good for the rest of the 5th, plus the 6th.

And of course, now Vesia gives up a hit to the LHH Rosario on a 1-2 count to bring up Freeman,
who is due to make some noise.

[BCmaiden]

Vesia might be the wrong LH to face Rosario & Freeman. Bruihl better w/offspeed & movement.

[BCmaiden]

Offspeed from Vesia to K Freeman.
8 AB's 8 K's

[KYDodger]

VESIA!
