I've never really been a Chicago guy (at least certainly not the soft rock version of them), but Amazon has recently featured one of the small handful of theirs I do like in a recent commercial, which led it to being in heavy rotation for me this week. This one is a classic (Terry Kath was a monster player) and my favorite of theirs:

A bit of a back story. I assumed this song was an AI creation for this show created by an American kid from Boston who died way too young of complications from tonsillitis of all things. Anyway, I was watching the NHK, last night, and saw a live version which kicked ass. I am efforting to find the video because the lead singer has one helluva set of pipes. In the meantime, here is this song that is on my rotation in the Fortress of Solitude along with about twenty prog-rock standards. A little break from King Crimson, Yes and Pink Floyd.
