Ya gotta love Joc. Two-run shot to put our Bums ahead, 2-1 in the third.

Wondering what Kershaw is going to ultimately become now? He is not that automatic stopper anymore. Still good, but I just don't think he is a #1 right now. More like a #2.

Austin Barnes is just a really bad baseball player. It's amazing that he is even on the roster of the Dodgers much less as the starting Catcher.

KJ with the save. A little uneasy with the Machado double and the Renfroe line out but it works. I would have felt nervous if it were a 1-run game.

Possibly a #2, but I see him more as a #3, as long as Buehler & Ryu stay healthy. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the decision makers realize that he's not our ace anymore when October rolls around, but I'm not counting on it.

I think that they are in an almost impossible place with Kershaw in the event that they need to win a key game. They will probably pitch him rather than make him mad. I think they had a similar problem with Seager in a different way in that they couldn't send him down to get some time to work on his hitting or sit him. Seager looks to be like he may be coming around though and his problem is just mental whereas CK can't put time back in the bottle.

Seems like Kershaw's best strategy now is to try to minimize the number of runners on base when he throws his multiple gopher balls every game.
